I-95 South Lane Closures at Night Next Week for Resurfacing Operations in Philadelphia
King of Prussia, PA – Southbound Interstate 95 motorists will encounter lane closures from the Betsy Ross Bridge to just south of the Allegheny Avenue Interchange in Philadelphia on Monday, October 1, through Thursday, October 4, from 7:30 PM to 4:30 AM, for milling and paving operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling on I-95 through the work area. All scheduled operations are weather dependent and subject to change.
This project is part of the governor's Resurface PA initiative, an aggressive campaign launched by PennDOT to accelerate repaving interstates and attacking potholes across the state's 40,000 miles of PennDOT-maintained roads, the nation's fifth largest such system.
