Conestoga Road, Chapel Hill Road to Close for Maintenance Improvements in Delaware County
King of Prussia, PA – Conestoga Road and the bridge carrying Chapel Hill Road over Ridley Creek in Delaware County are scheduled to close next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedules are:
- Monday, October 22, through Wednesday, October 24, Chapel Hill Road will close between Barren Road and Bishop Hollow Road/Ridley Creek Road in Upper Providence and Middletown townships for bridge deck repair. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Barren Road, Route 352 South (Middletown Road), Rose Tree Road and Ridley Creek Road; and
- Monday, October 22, through Thursday, October 25, Conestoga Road will be closed between Lowrys Lane and Good Shepard Terrace in Radnor Township for pipe repair. During construction, motorists will be directed to use Conestoga Road, County Line Road, U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue), Route 320 (Sproul Road) and Conestoga Road.
Local access will be maintained up to both construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and slowdowns will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
