Norfolk Southern to Close County Line Road Next Week for Rail Crossing Maintenance in Bucks and Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Norfolk Southern Railroad is scheduled to close County Line Road between Mann Road and Somers Drive in Upper Southampton Township, Bucks County, and Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County beginning Monday morning, December 3, through Friday, December 7, for rail crossing maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the five-day closure, County Line Road motorists will be directed to use James Way, Jaymor Road and Route 232 (2nd Street Pike). Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone.
Motorists are advised to allow additional time for travel near the work area because backups may occur. This operation is weather dependent and subject to change.
