Three State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Removal in Chester and Bucks Counties

King of Prussia, PA – Three state highways in Chester and Bucks counties will be restricted next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM for tree removal operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, November 26, through Friday, November 30, Strasburg Road will be narrowed to a single lane between Mortonville Road and Romansville Road in East Fallowfield and West Bradford townships, Chester County;
  • Tuesday, November 27, and Wednesday, November 28, Fallsington Tullytown Road will be narrowed to a single lane between Mill Creek Parkway and New Falls Road in Fall Township, Bucks County; and
  • Thursday, November 29, and Friday, November 30, Pineville Road will be reduced to a single lane between Thompson Mill Road and Brownsburg Road in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional Twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
