PennDOT - District 6 News: I-95 Restricted Wednesday and Thursday for ITS Maintenance in Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

I-95 Restricted Wednesday and Thursday for ITS Maintenance in Bucks and Philadelphia Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane closures are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Bucks and Philadelphia counties next week for Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) maintenance, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Wednesday, December 19, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Washington Avenue/Columbus Boulevard and Callowhill Street interchanges in Philaldelphia;
  • Wednesday, December 19, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound I-95 between the Broad Street (Route 611) and Route 291 East (Bartram Avenue/Cargo City) interchanges in Philadelphia;
  • Thursday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Bridge Street and Route 73 (Cottman Avenue) interchanges in Philadelphia; and
  • Thursday, December 20, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound I-95 between the Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) and Route 132 (Street Road) interchanges in Bensalem Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
