Chester Water Authority to Close Bethel Avenue Weekdays for Utility Installation in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County

​King of Prussia, PA – The Chester Water Authority is planning to close Bethel Avenue weekdays between U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) and Dutton Street in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, beginning Friday morning, January 18, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The weekday closure will be in place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM through the end of April.

During the closure, motorists will be directed to use U.S. 322 (Conchester Highway) and Dutton Street. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. 

The Chester Water Authority will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
