PennDOT - District 6 News: Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Delaware and Montgomery Counties

Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming in Delaware and Montgomery Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Several state highways will be restricted from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM next week with flagging in Delaware and Montgomery counties for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:
  • Monday, January 28, and Tuesday, January 29, a single lane closure is scheduled on State Road between Old Mill Road and Old State Road in Upper Providence Township, Delaware County;
  • Monday, January 28, through Friday, February 1, lane closures are scheduled on Route 29 (Gravel Pike) between Graterford Road and Plank Road in Perkiomen Township, Montgomery County;
  • Monday, January 28, through Friday, February 1, lane closures are scheduled on Township Line Road between Ridge Pike and Cemetery Road in Limerick Township, Montgomery County; and
  • Wednesday, January 30, through Friday, February 1, lane closures are scheduled on Dilworthtown Road between Westtown Thornton Road and Kashmir Drive in Thornbury Township, Delaware County. 
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns will occur during these tree removal operations. These operations are weather dependent.
