PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Installations in Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning lane restrictions on several state highways on Monday, March 25, through Friday, March 29, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties, for utility installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
- Curly Hill Road between Old Easton Road and Valley Park Road in Plumstead Township, Bucks County;
- Hulmeville Avenue between Joyce Avenue and Rumpf Avenue in Penndel Borough, Bucks County;
- U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Morris Lane and Independence Way in Sadsbury Township, Chester County;
- Reeceville Road between Freedom Boulevard and Caln Meetinghouse Road in West Brandywine Township, Chester County;
- Brinton Lake Road between Denise Drive and Elaine Drive in Thornbury Township, Delaware County;
- Edwards Street between 10th Street and 9th Street in Chester City, Delaware County;
- Landover Road between Gaynor Road and Haverford Road in Haverford Township, Delaware County;
- Sproul Road between Kirk Avenue and Summit Avenue in Marple Township, Delaware County; and
- Ridge Pike between Pechin Mill Road and Crosskeys Road in Lower Providence Township, Montgomery County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through these work areas. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
