Route 23 (Ridge Road) Among Several State Highways Restricted This Week for Resurfacing Operations in Chester County

​King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways including Route 23 (Ridge Road) in Chester County from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for milling, paving and pothole repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

  • Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, on Cedarville Road between Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Sheep Hill Road in North Coventry Township;
  • Wednesday, March 27, and Thursday, March 28, on St. Peters Road between Sheep Hill Road and Harmonyville Road in North Coventry and Warwick townships;
  • Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29, on Route 23 (Ridge Road) between Bridge Street and Hares Hill Road in East Vincent and East Pikeland townships; and
  • Thursday, March 28, and Friday, March 29, on Pughtown Road between Sheeder Road and Route 23 (Ridge Road) in East Vincent and South Coventry townships.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.

Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $6,262,777 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds from Act 89, Pennsylvania's Transportation Plan.
