Boot Road Among Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Resurfacing Operations in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions are scheduled on several state highways including Boot Road in Chester County on Monday, April 8, through Friday, April 12, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for milling, paving and pothole repairs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work locations include:
- Boot Road at Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in West Whiteland Township;
- Phoenixville Pike at Green Hill Road in West Goshen Township;
- Phoenixville Pike between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Ave) and King Road in West Whiteland Township;
- King Road between Frazer Road and Route 352 (Sproul Road/Chester Road) in East Whiteland Township;
- Goshen Road between Sugartown Road and Dutton Mill Road in Willistown Township; and
- Yellow Springs Road between Valley Creek Road and Diamond Rock Road in Tredyffrin Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
Allan A. Myers, LP, of Worcester, Montgomery County, is the general contractor on the $6,262,777 project, which is financed with 100 percent state funds from Act 89, Pennsylvania's Transportation Plan.
