Comcast to Close Ship Road Overnights for Utility Work in West Whiteland Township
King of Prussia, PA – Comcast is planning to close Ship Road overnights between King Road and Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, on Tuesday, June 11 and Wednesday, June 12, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, for utility work, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the overnight closure, Ship Road motorists will be detoured over King Road, Boot Road, Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway).
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through this work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
Comcast will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
