I-95, I-476, U.S. 202 Restricted Next Week for Pavement Marking Installation in Philadelphia, Delaware and Chester Counties
King of Prussia, PA – Overnight periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95, Interstate 476 and U.S. 202 in Philadelphia, Delaware and Chester counties on Sunday, May 19, through Friday, May 24, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for pavement marking installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work locations include:
- I-95 North and South between the Delaware County line and Route 291 Interchange in Philadelphia;
- I-95 North and South between the Philadelphia County line and Route 420 Interchange in Tinicum Township, Delaware County;
- I-476 North and South between the Route 3 and MacDade Boulevard interchanges in Nether Providence and Marple townships Delaware County;
- U.S. 202 between U.S. 422 and Swedesford Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County; and
- U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between Dilworthtown Road and Old Wilmington Pike in Birmingham and Goshen townships, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
