I-95, U.S. 202 Restricted Next Week for Pavement Marking Installation in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester Counties

​King of Prussia, PA – Overnight periodic lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95, and U.S. 202 in Philadelphia, Bucks and Chester counties on Tuesday, May 28, through Friday, May 31, from 10:00 PM to 5:00 AM, for pavement marking installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work locations include:

  • I-95 North and South between the Delaware County line and Route 291 Interchange in Philadelphia;
  • U.S. 202 between County Line Road and Route 611 (Easton Road) in Warrington Township, and Doylestown Borough, Bucks County;
  • U.S. 202 between U.S. 422 and Swedesford Road in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County; and
  • U.S. 202 (Wilmington Pike) between Dilworthtown Road and Old Wilmington Pike in Birmingham and Goshen townships, Chester County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because slowdowns will occur. The contractor's schedule is dependent on the weather.
