Whitemarsh Township to Close Stenton Avenue Weekdays for Roadway and Drainage Improvements
King of Prussia, PA – Whitemarsh Township is planning to close Stenton Avenue between Flourtown Road and Mill Road in Whitemarsh Township, Montgomery County beginning Friday, July 19, for roadway and drainage construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. Weather permitting, the closure will be in place Mondays through Fridays from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM through late August.
During this operation, Stenton Avenue motorists will be directed to use Flourtown Road, Thomas Road, Germantown Pike and Northwestern Avenue. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
Whitemarsh Township will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
