PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvement in Chester and Delaware Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning weekday lane closures on several state highways in Chester and Delaware counties, next week, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for pole maintenance operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Monday, September 16, through Wednesday, September 18, on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Springfield Road and Morton Avenue in Marple Township, Delaware County;
- Tuesday, September 17, through Friday, September 20, on Route 896 (Newark Road) between Mystery Rose Lane and Grist Mill Lane in Upper Oxford and Penn townships, Chester County; and
- Tuesday, September 17, through Friday, September 20, on Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) between Main Street and Old Lincoln Highway in Valley Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
