Comcast to Close Ship Road at Night Next Week for Utility Improvement in West Whiteland Township
King of Prussia, PA – Comcast is planning to close Ship Road between Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway) and King Street in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, on Monday, October 7, through Friday, October 11, from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway), Route 100 (Pottstown Pike), Boot Road and King Street. Local access will be maintained up to the construction zone. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Comcast will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
