Route 32 (River Road) to Close Next Week for Mechanized Patching in Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – Route 32 (River Road) is scheduled to close next week in Plumstead and Solebury townships, Bucks County for mechanized patching operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
Weather permitting, the work schedule is:
- Monday, October 21, and Tuesday, October 22, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Point Pleasant Pike and Fleecy Dale Road in Plumstead and Solebury townships. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413 (Durham Road), Mechanicsville Road and Green Hill Road; and
- Wednesday, October 23, and Thursday, October 24, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed and detoured between Green Hill Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Green Hill Road, Mechanicsville Road, Sugan Road and Route 263 (Upper York Road).
Local access will be maintained up to both construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur.
