PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on several state highways in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Wednesday, November 6, through Saturday, November 9, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 313 (Swamp Pike) between Creek Road and Chestnut Drive in Buckingham Township and Doylestown Borough.
Chester County
- Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on U.S. 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Pinebrook Circle and Guthriesville Road in East Brandywine Township;
- Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road) between Argyle Road and Evergreen Lane in Easttown Township; and
- Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Bridge Street) between Hall Street and Walnut Street in Phoenixville Borough.
Montgomery County
- Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Moreland Road) between Frazier Avenue and Cleveland Avenue in Abington Township; and
- Monday, November 4, through Friday, November 8, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Welsh Road) between Oak Terrace Drive and Lloyd Road in Lower Gwynedd Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
