Several State Highways Restricted Next Week for Tree Trimming Operations in Chester County
King of Prussia, PA – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on several state highways next week in Chester County, on Monday, December 16, through Friday, December 20, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for tree trimming operations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
- Route 252 (Darby Paoli Road) between Sugartown Road and the Delaware County Line in Easttown Township;
- Creek Road between Route 926 (Street Road) and Wylie Ter Road in Pocopson and Birmingham townships;
- Wylie Road between Birmingham Road and Creek Road in Birmingham Township;
- Providence Road between Goshen Road and Marlborough Road in Willistown Township;
- Goshen Road between Sugartown Road and Warren Avenue in Willistown Township; and
- Goshen Road between Boot Road and Providence Road in Willistown Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
