PECO to Restrict Several State Highways Next Week for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Durham Road) at Upper Mountain Road in Buckingham Township; and
- Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 532 (Buck Road) between Heron Road and Twist Drive in Northampton Township.
Chester County
- Monday, January 13, through Thursday, January 16, from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between Rockland Drive and Sunrise Boulevard in Uwchlan Township; and
- Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 North (Baltimore Pike) between Barns Briton Boulevard and Independence Way in Pennsbury Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Collegeville Road) at Perkiomen Boulevard in Upper Providence Township;
- Monday, January 13, through Friday, January 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 73 (Skippack Pike) between Berks Road and Old Orchard Road in Worcester Township; and
- Wednesday, January 15, through mid-March, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Pleasantview Road between High Street and Buchert Road in Lower Pottsgrove Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
