PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery, Philadelphia Counties
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 263 (Upper York Road) between Street Road and Bellinghamshire Place in Solebury Township; and
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, June 5, from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) between Route 132 (Street Road) and Hansell Drive in Bensalem Township.
Chester County
- Wednesday, April 8, through Friday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Kennett Pike and Lenape Road in Kennett Township; and
- Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) at Old Baltimore Pike in Pennsbury Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Moreland Road) between Silver Avenue and Harding Avenue in Abington Township; and
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 232 (Huntingdon Pike) between Winding Creek Lane and Sioux Avenue in Abington Township.
Philadelphia County
- Monday, April 6, through Friday, April 10, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 1 (City Avenue) between 59th Street and Berwick Road.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
