Verizon Pennsylvania to Restrict U.S. 30, Route 29 for Utility Construction in East Whiteland Township

King of Prussia, PA – Verizon Pennsylvania is planning single lane closures on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Route 29 (Morehall Road) in East Whiteland Township, Chester County for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

The work schedule is:

• Wednesday, April 22, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Route 29 (Morehall Road) and Valley Road; and
• Monday, April 27, through Friday, May 1, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 29 (Morehall Road) between U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) and Matthews Road.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
