Amtrak to Close Whitford Road Weekdays for Beam Rehabilitation in West Whiteland Township
King of Prussia, PA – Amtrak is planning to close Whitford Road weekdays between Clover Mill Road and Spacman Lane in West Whiteland Township, Chester County, on Monday, July 6, through Monday, August 17, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for beam rehabilitation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, Whitford Road motorists will be directed to use Boot Road, Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) and Business U.S. 30 (Lincoln Highway).
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
