East Penn Railroad to Close Newark Road for Grade Crossing Improvements in New Garden Township
King of Prussia, PA – East Penn Railroad is planning to close Newark Road between Main Street and Pine Street in New Garden Township, Chester County, from 9:00 AM Friday, July 10 to 5:00 AM Tuesday, July 14, for grade crossing improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the closure, Newark Road motorists will be detoured over Pine Street, Church Street and Reese Street.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
