SEPTA to Close Route 63 (Red Lion Road) for Rail Improvements in Lower Moreland Township
King of Prussia, PA – Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is planning to close Route 63 (Red Lion Road) between Philmont Avenue and Pine Avenue in Lower Moreland Township, Montgomery County, from 9:00 AM on Friday, September 25, to 6:00 PM on Monday, September 28, for railroad grade crossing replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
During the 24-hour closure, Route 63 (Red Lion Road) motorists will be directed to use Pine Road, Byberry Road and Philmont Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
