PECO to Restrict Several State Highways for Utility Improvements Across Philadelphia Region
King of Prussia, PA – PECO Energy is planning single lane closures next week on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery counties for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedule is:
Bucks County
- Monday, May 24, through Friday, July 9, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 413 (Veterans Highway) between New Falls Road and Plumbridge Pass in Bristol Township.
Chester County
- Monday, May 24, through Friday, May 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 52 (Price Street) between Church Street and Business U.S. 322 (High Street) in West Chester Borough;
- Monday, May 24, through Friday, May 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on Route 926 (Street Road) between Shady Grove Way and Cheyney Thornton Road in Thornbury Township;
- Tuesday, May 25, through Friday, June 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 162 (Telegraph Road) between Strasburg Road and Brandywine Drive in West Bradford Township; and
- Wednesday, May 26, through Friday, June 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Franklin Avenue) at the intersection with Vanderslice Street in Phoenixville Borough.
Delaware County
- Monday, May 24, through Tuesday, June 18, from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 13 (Church Lane) between Baily Road and Longacre Boulevard in Yeadon Borough; and
- Monday, May 24, through Tuesday, June 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 320 (Sproul Road) between Springfield Road and Cedar Grove Road in Marple Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, May 24, through Monday, May 31, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Welsh Road) at the intersection with Oak Terrace Drive in Horsham Township;
- Monday, May 24, through Wednesday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) from Lankenau Drive and U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Lower Merion Township; and
- Monday, May 24, through Wednesday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue) between Remington Road and Stanford Drive in Lower Merion Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
