Church Road Reopens Following Sinkhole Repair in Upper Merion Township
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) reopened Church Road today between Henderson Road and Brandenburg Way in Upper Merion Township, Montgomery County, following sinkhole repair.
The closure and detour had been in place since the sinkhole was discovered on April 20. This section of Church Road also closed in fall 2021 due to a sinkhole.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com or downloading the 511PA mobile application. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
