ROAD CLOSURE ALERT: On Saturday, May 13th starting at 6:00am, Virginia Drive will be closed for construction until 8:00pm (or until work is complete) to remove old and install new large sections of drainage piping which crosses the road. Work will take place at 440 Virginia Drive (Lightbridge Academy) between Delaware Drive and the Public Library.
Detour signs will be placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed. The alternate route will direct motorists to turn from Virginia Drive onto Camp Hill Road (temporarily permitted for detour), Highland Avenue and Pinetown Road to avoid the closure.
Access to the Upper Dublin Police Department and Public Library will remain open on Virginia Drive if coming from Camp Hill Road and will still be accessible from the Pinetown Road and Highland Avenue driveways.
Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
