Northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) is closed and detoured between Henderson Road and Saulin Boulevard due to pavement failure.
This same section of U.S. 202 was closed from July 10 to July 12 following the discovery and repair of a large sinkhole.
On July 15, the left lane was closed on northbound U.S. 202 just after Henderson Road due to new pavement failure. The right lane was closed tonight, July 16 at 11:15 PM.
Northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Henderson Rd and Saulin Blvd will remain closed until PennDOT engineers can assess the extent of the new damage and develop a plan to perform additional sinkhole repair.
During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Henderson Road and Saulin Boulevard. Local access will be maintained up to the closure.
