The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce's 63rd Annual Holiday Parade will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2PM until approximately 4PM along York Road in Hatboro.  York Road will be closed to north and south bound traffic between County Line Road and S, Warminster Road from 12:30 PM until the conclusion of the parade on Sunday.  No crosstraffic is permitted along the parade route.  No parking will be permitted along the York Road parade route after 12 noon on the day for the parade.  All parked vehicles need to be removed from the roadway by that time.

ReadyMontco - Upper Dublin Alert

A portion of Dillon Road will be closed beginning Tuesday, November 14th due to a repaving project. A detour will be in pace via Limekiln Pike/Fort Washington Avenue/Bell Lane. The detour is estimated to be required for five weeks (excluding Thanksgiving) until 12/15 with curb work for the first three weeks and milling/leveling/paving for the final two weeks.

Some driveway access may be restricted as a part of the curb installation. The Contractor has been informed that these restrictions need to be for the shortest time possible and that coordination with affected homeowners is required.

PennDOT has announced that bridge inspections are scheduled next week on state highways in Upper Merion Township

On Saturday, November 11, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a right lane closure is scheduled on southbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Main Street and U.S. 202 (Dekalb Street) in Norristown, Bridgeport Borough, and Upper Merion Township

On Wednesday, November 15, from midnight to 4:00 AM, a right lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 202 (Dekalb Pike) between Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) and Main Street in Upper Merion Township, Bridgeport Borough, and Norristown

[UPDATE 11/6/23 7:38pm] Tomorrow's (Tuesday, November 7tth) construction and road closure on Fort Washington Avenue has been MOVED to Wednesday, November 8th from 9:00am - 3:00pm.

On Wednesday, November 8th, Fort Washington Avenue will be closed between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm for construction. Township crews will be conducting work involving underground stormwater pipe replacement. If work is not completed by 3:00pm on Wednesday, construction will resume on Thursday, November 9th between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm in order to complete the project.

Construction will take place on Fort Washington Avenue between Terrace Drive and Fulton Drive. Detour signs will be placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed.

Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
