[UPDATE 11/6/23 7:38pm] Tomorrow's (Tuesday, November 7tth) construction and road closure on Fort Washington Avenue has been MOVED to Wednesday, November 8th from 9:00am - 3:00pm.
On Wednesday, November 8th, Fort Washington Avenue will be closed between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm for construction. Township crews will be conducting work involving underground stormwater pipe replacement. If work is not completed by 3:00pm on Wednesday, construction will resume on Thursday, November 9th between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm in order to complete the project.
Construction will take place on Fort Washington Avenue between Terrace Drive and Fulton Drive. Detour signs will be placed to help guide motorists around the closure and will be removed once construction is completed.
Traffic delays are expected during construction and motorists should allow for extra time if traveling in the area or seek an alternate route. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
