Good morning, Whitemarsh Township Residents,
Whitemarsh Township Emergency Management has been monitoring the storm throughout the night and the rising river levels into today. Please see updated information below.
Less than 5% of the Township is without power.
Current road closures/hazardous road conditions:
River Rd/Harts Ln- Closed
River Rd closed between Manor Rd and Harts Ln
River Rd (Philadelphia Swim Club)- Closed
Harts Ln between the Miquon School and River Rd due to a tree on power lines- PECO notified
Morris Rd and Mill Spring Dr tree partially blocking the roadway eastbound- PENNDOT notified
Washington St between Cherry St and the Spring Mill Train Station- Closed (monitoring river levels)
Woodbine Way- Continuing to monitor Woodbine Way sinkhole (evaluation underway by contractors)(Residents have been notified)
