Aqua Pennsylvania Utility Improvements Scheduled on Two State Highways in Bucks, Montgomery Counties
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Aqua Pennsylvania will be performing water main construction on two state highways in Bucks and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, November 18, through Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Brown Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 513 (Hulmeville Road) and Knights Road in Bensalem Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Knights Road, Route 132 (Street Road), and Route 513 (Hulmeville Road).
Montgomery County
- Monday, November 11, through Friday, August 29, 2025, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, Philmont Avenue will be closed and detoured weekdays between Route 63 (Red Lion Road) and Pine Road in Lower Moreland Township. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 63 (Red Lion Road) and Pine Road.
Local access will be maintained up to the work zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
Aqua Pennsylvania will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

following regional X alerts.
