Base Repair Scheduled on Route 896 (Newark Road) in Upper Oxford Township
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that base repair is scheduled on Route 896 (Newark Road) in Upper Oxford Township, Chester County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Friday, October 25, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 896 (Newark Road) between Baltimore Pike and the Lancaster County line.
Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
