PECO Utility Improvement to Close Route 252 (Providence Road) Weekdays in Media Borough
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will perform utility construction on Route 252 (Providence Road) in Media Borough, Delaware County, beginning on Monday, October 26.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, October 28, through Monday, December 2, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 252 (Providence Road) will be closed and detoured weekdays between Worrall Street and Locust Lane. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Baltimore Pike, Manchester Avenue, and Wallingford Road. Local access will be maintained up to the work zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
