Tuesday, November 12, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Flint Hill Road/Jefferson Street between Route 320 (Swedeland Road) and Fourth Street in Upper Merion Township for utility adjustments and milling.

REVISED: Wednesday, November 13, through Friday, November 15, from 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Gulph Road at the Route 23 (West Valley Forge Road) Intersection in Upper Merion Township for milling and paving.

Utility Improvement Continues on Eastbound Little Road in Lower Frederick Township

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that Prestige Property Partners LLC will continue performing utility construction on eastbound Little Road in Lower Frederick Township, Montgomery County. 

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, eastbound Little Road is scheduled to be closed and detoured between Route 29 (Gravel Pike) and Simmons Road. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 29 (Gravel Pike), Route 73 (Big Road), and Perkiomenville Road. 
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. 

Prestige Property Partners LLC will complete this work under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.

​King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that roadway construction will continue next week on a project to improve safety at the intersections along the Business U.S. 322 (High Street) corridor in West Chester Borough and West Goshen Township, Chester County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
  • Monday, November 11, through Friday, November 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, periodic weekday lane closures with flagging are scheduled on Business U.S. 322 (High Street) between Barnard Street and Rosedale Avenue.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near and through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent. 

Under this contract, PennDOT's contractor will install new traffic signals at University Avenue and Sharpless Street and provide signal support and related equipment. The project will consist of the installation of retroreflective backplates on existing signals, modern LED luminaries, pedestrian countdown timers at signalized intersections, curb extensions, high-visibility crosswalks, drainage improvements, and comprehensive full-depth pavement restoration, culminating in a complete roadway resurfacing.

Marino Corporation of Skippack, Pennsylvania, is the general contractor on the $2,619,998 project which is financed with 100 percent federal funds. Physical construction on the project is expected to finish in winter 2026.

The barrier removal is part of a $16.2 million project to improve travel and safety on MacDade Boulevard and at the northbound I-476 and MacDade Boulevard Interchange.

The paving, bridge repair and guiderail replacement are part of a $63.7 million project to resurface, repair and improve approximately 17 miles of the interstate from I-76 (Schuylkill Expressway) in West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, to I-95 in Ridley Township, Delaware County.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The concrete patching is part of a $6.9 million project to rehabilitate pavement on eastbound U.S. 422 between the Route 29/Phoenixville and Route 363/Trooper Road interchanges.

The shoulder and roadway reconstruction are part of an $83.6 million project to reconstruct and improve U.S. 422 and replace two bridges between the Sanatoga Interchange and Porter Road.

Traffic Shift Planned at Night Next Week on U.S. 1 for Reconstruction in Bensalem Township

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that construction is planned at night next week U.S. 1 in Bensalem Township under PennDOT's $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of U.S. 1 in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

During the Rockhill Drive closure, motorists are directed to use the following detours:

  • Rockhill Drive to U.S. 1 North: North on Neshaminy Blvd, west on Bristol Road, south on Old Lincoln highway to east on Street Road to the ramp to U.S. 1 north.
  • U.S. 1 North to Rockhill Drive: North on U.S. 1, exit Penndel/Business U.S. 1, south on Old Lincoln Highway, east on Bristol Road, south on Neshaminy Boulevard back to Rockhill Drive.
  • U.S. 1 South to Neshaminy Mall: Exit at Neshaminy/Rockhill Drive, west on Rockhill Drive, north on Old Lincoln Highway, east on Bristol Road, south on Neshaminy Boulevard.

The work is part of PennDOT's U.S. 1/RC2 contract that will reconstruct and widen U.S. 1 from south of the Rockhill Drive Interchange to north of the Penndel/Business U.S. 1 Interchange.

Sign, Barrier Installation Planned at Night Next Week on I-95 in Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that sign and barrier construction is planned at night next week on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia. A section of Tacony Street will also close for I-95 bridge construction.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:

  • Monday, November 11, and Tuesday, November 12, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, the eastbound I-676 ramp to southbound I-95 will be closed and a left lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the I-676 and Columbus Boulevard interchanges for sign and barrier installation. During the ramp closure, motorists will be directed to continue on I-676 east, exit at 6th Street/Ben Franklin Bridge, east on Race Street, and south on Columbus Boulevard to the southbound I-95 on-ramp at Water Street.
  • Wednesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, the ramp from Columbus Boulevard to northbound I-95 will be closed and a left lane closure will be in place on northbound I-95 between the Columbus Boulevard and I-676 interchanges for barrier installation. During the ramp closure, motorists will be directed north on Columbus Boulevard to the northbound I-95 on-ramp at Summer Street.
  • Wednesday, November 13, and Thursday, November 14, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a left lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between Market Street and the I-76 interchange for sign installation.
  • Saturday, November 9, and Saturday, November 16, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Tacony Street will be closed between Aramingo Avenue and Bridge Street for overhead bridge construction. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Harbison Avenue and Bridge Street.

The lane and ramp closures are part of PennDOT's $329 million I-95 Central Access Philadelphia (CAP) Project that will replace and extend the cap over I-95 and Columbus Boulevard between Walnut and Chestnut streets.

The Tacony Street closure is part of PennDOT's $270 million I-95/BS2 project that will reconstruct I-95 in both directions from Margaret Street to Carver Street.

  • Monday, November 11, through Friday, January 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 13 (Frankford Avenue) between Grant Avenue and Carteret Drive.

ReadyMontco - Hatboro Burn Ban UPDATE

The Borough of Hatboro has extended the temporary burn ban effective 11/6/2024. This ban will last until November 30th (or until lifted) and prohibits open fires, including recreational fire pits and fireworks. The ban is due to the extended period of dry conditions affecting the Borough of Hatboro and the potential for uncontrollable fire spread and wildfires. The Borough of Hatboro is committed to the safety of our community. Please direct any questions to the Fire Marshal's Office at 215-443-9100.

​Philadelphia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that SEPTA will be performing rail improvements on Kingsessing Avenue in Philadelphia, beginning Saturday, November 10.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
  • From 7:00 AM Saturday, November 10, to 5:00 PM Saturday, November 23, Kingsessing Avenue will be closed and detoured 24/7 between Cemetery Avenue and 62nd Street. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Kingsessing Avenue, 65th Street, Woodland Avenue, and 58th Street. 
Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

PennDOT to Host Virtual Public Meeting for Proposed Improvement Projects along Interstate 95 in Delaware County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) invites the public to attend a live virtual public meeting on Tuesday, November 19, to learn about the proposed projects along I-95 between the Delaware state line and I-476 in Delaware County, including the I-95/U.S. 322 Interchange, the Chester noise walls, and other projects nearby.

As part of PennDOT's public outreach program, the department encourages the public to attend the live virtual public meeting on Tuesday, November 19, beginning at 6:30 PM, by clicking on this Microsoft Live Teams meeting link prior to the presentation start time. The department's design team will deliver a presentation on the projects before opening the meeting to questions using the platform's Q&A feature.

Please note that internet access or a computer or mobile device are required to view the virtual meeting. Anyone with special needs or requiring special aid is requested to contact info@95revive.com.

The upcoming virtual public meeting follows two Open House public meetings that PennDOT hosted on Monday, September 16, and Tuesday, September 17, in the City of Chester.
