Bridge Repair Planned at Night Next Week on Front Street in South Philadelphia, Interstate 295 in Bucks County
King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge repair will occur at night next week on Front Street in South Philadelphia and on I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
- Monday, November 18, and, Wednesday, November 20, from 2:00 AM to 5:00 AM, a right lane closure will be in place on southbound Front Street between Oregon Avenue and Packer Avenue for steel repair.
- Monday, November 18, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.
- Wednesday, November 20, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on westbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
