Maintenance Work Scheduled on Easton Road Ramp, Mechanicsville Road in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance work is scheduled on the Easton Road ramp to northbound U.S. 202 (Doylestown Bypass) and Mechanicsville Road in Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction: 

• Tuesday, November 12, through Tuesday, November 19, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the Easton Road ramp to northbound U.S. 202 (Doylestown Bypass) will be closed weekdays in Doylestown Borough and Doylestown Township, for concrete repairs. During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Easton Road, Edison Furlong Road, and Route 313 (Swamp Road).
• Tuesday, November 12, through Friday, November 22, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Mechanicsville Road will be closed weekdays between Aquetong Road and Greenhill Road in Solebury Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Greenhill Road and Aquetong Road.

Local access will be maintained. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.  

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
