Bridge Repair Planned at Night Next Week on Interstate 295 in Bucks County

King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that bridge repair will occur at night next week on I-295 in Middletown Township, Bucks County.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Monday, December 2, through Thursday, December 5, from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM the following morning, a single lane closure will be in place on eastbound I-295 approaching U.S. 1 for bridge repair.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways including color-coded winter conditions, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional X alerts.
