A Snow Emergency has been declared for Lower Salford Township and will be in effect from 8:00 PM on Saturday, January 24, through 8:00 PM on Monday, January 26.
Due to the forecasted winter storm, the Township asks all residents to assist Public Works by removing vehicles from roadways. On-street parking significantly restricts snow removal operations, particularly on narrow streets and cul-de-sacs.
Please be advised that on-street parking is strictly prohibited on designated Snow Emergency Routes in accordance with Chapter 155, Article IV of the Township Code. Vehicles parked in violation of this ordinance may be ticketed and/or towed.
The Lower Salford Public Works Department has plowed the Harleysville Community Center parking lots on Gruber Road to provide additional parking. Please move your vehicle off the street and into these lots if you do not have space on your property.
