Whitpain Township has declared a Snow Emergency effective from 9 p.m. Saturday 1/24/2026 until further notice.

WINTER STORM INFORMATION: Please Read
• During a Snow Emergency, parking is prohibited on all streets in Whitpain until snow has been plowed for the width of the street
• This applies to all roadways, except those where ONLY on-street parking is available. On these streets, vehicles should be parked on the even-numbered side of the street on even-numbered calendar days and odd-numbered side of the street on odd-numbered calendar days.
• Please remove your trashcans from the roads.
• Please clear fire hydrants that are on your property. This helps the Fire Department locate them in an emergency.
• Please leave at least 100 feet between your vehicle and plowing equipment.
• To report a snow-related issue during the storm, please call (610)277-2400 Mon.-Fri. 8:30am-4:30pm. Outside hours (610)279-9033.
• If you lose power, report it to PECO. Do not assume your neighbor(s) already did. Call PECO at 1 800-841-4141. Please do not call the Police for a power outage.
• Charge your electronic devices prior to the storm hitting
