Calling All Volunteers for a Litter Clean-Up across Upper Merion Township This Thursday, March 27, 1:30PM - 5:00PM

Individuals and groups welcome – Registration and Volunteer Waiver links – Click HERE.

Welcome Tent Location: Ross Road Field (corner of Henderson and Ross Roads, King of Prussia).

Litter pickup: Crews will be deployed across Upper Merion Township to clean up roadways, stream banks, and the Schuylkill River bank. Volunteers receive safety vests, trash bags, gloves, and safety talk.

At 5:00PM, Volunteers are welcome to join us at Conshohocken Brewing Puddlers Bar (3 DeKalb St., Bridgeport) for light refreshments and A FREE BEER. A discount on all menu items will be offered to Pub & Scrub Volunteers! Volunteers are also invited to visit Frosty Falls Ice Cream (96 DeKalb St, Bridgeport) for great treats at a special discount for volunteers!

This event is registered with Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful in support of Pick Up PA, the state's Annual Spring Initiative.

PennDOT announced that Aqua Pennsylvania will perform water main construction on Valley Forge Road in Upper Merion Township on Saturday, March 15.

Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:

• Saturday, March 15, from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Route 23 (Valley Forge Road) is scheduled to be closed and detoured between Colonial Springs Road and Route 252 (Valley Creek Road). During the closure, motorists will be directed to use Route 23 (Valley Forge Road/Nutt Road), Route 29 (Starr Street), Route 29 (Bridge Street), Egypt Road, U.S. 422, and Route 23 (Valley Forge Park Road/Gulph Road).

Local access will be maintained up to the work zone. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
