Lane Restrictions Scheduled on Several Highways in Philadelphia, Delaware,
and Montgomery Counties for Maintenance Operations

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced
that
lane restrictions are scheduled on Interstate 95 in Philadelphia,
Interstate 76
in Philadelphia and Montgomery County, Interstate 476 in Delaware County,
and
Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in Montgomery County, for maintenance
operations.

The work schedule, which is weather dependent, is:

•Saturday, January 9, from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM, the left lane is scheduled
to
close on northbound I-95 between the Broad Street (Exit 17) and Washington
Avenue (Exit 20) interchanges in Philadelphia, for sweeping and inlet
cleaning;

•Saturday, January 9, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on the Route 291 (Penrose Avenue) ramp to southbound I-95 in Philadelphia,
for
sweeping;

•Tuesday, January 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on eastbound I-76 between the Gulph Mills (Exit 330) and Conshohocken (Exit

331B) interchanges in Upper Merion and Lower Merion townships, and West
Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, for expansion joint replacement;

•Tuesday, January 12, and Wednesday, January 13, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM,
the
left lane is scheduled to close on eastbound I-76 between the U.S. 1 South
(Exit 339) and Montgomery Drive (Exit 341) interchanges in Philadelphia,
for
inlet cleaning;

•Tuesday, January 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled
on southbound I-476 between the Baltimore Pike and I-95 interchanges in
Nether
Providence and Ridley townships, Delaware County, for pavement patching;

•Wednesday, January 13, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, lane restrictions are
scheduled on westbound I-76 between the Conshohocken (Exit 331B) and Gulph
Mills (Exit 330) interchanges in Lower Merion and Upper Merion townships,
and
West Conshohocken Borough, Montgomery County, for expansion joint
replacement;
and

•Wednesday, January 13, through Friday, January 15, from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM,
the left lane is scheduled to close on northbound and southbound Route 309
(Bethlehem Pike) between Route 63 (Welsh Road) and Line Lexington Road in
Montgomery Township, Montgomery County, for crack sealing.

Motorists are advised to allow more time for travel on I-95, I-76, I-476,
and
Route 309 during these operations because slowdowns will occur.
