Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) to Close Next Week for Rail Crossing

CSX Railroad will close Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) between Ogden Avenue
and
Meetinghouse Road in Upper Chichester Township, Delaware County, on Monday,

August 8 through Friday, August 12 for the replacement of a railroad
crossing,
the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced.

During the 24-hour operation, Route 491 (Naamans Creek Road) through
traffic
will be detoured over Mill Road, Bethel Road, Chichester Avenue and
Meetinghouse Road. Local access will be maintained up to the construction
zone.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
visiting
