Additionally, sleet and snow may occur sometime over the weekend; however there is still much uncertainty regarding when and how much. Here are the details: Chester County Forecasted Conditions: · Anticipated Timing: Thursday, 12/15/16 and Friday, 12/12/16 · Duration: 2 days · Wind speeds: winds 15-25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph · Extremely cold temperatures with wind chills in the single digits · Precipitation: a mix of snow, freezing rain, and sleet possible over the weekend · Active watches & warnings: None at this time Impacts: - Cold temperatures can threaten the lives of vulnerable populations without access to shelter.
