Event Summary
Chester County remains in Winter Storm Warning until 1600 hours. Rain has transitioned to snow across Chester County. 4-6 inches of snow is still expected for Chester County with southern areas of the County receiving lower amounts. The EOC is currently staffed at Level III.
Weather Update:
Today: Snow, mainly before 11am. The snow could be heavy at times. Some thunder is also possible. High near 31. Blustery, with a northwest wind 20 to 22 mph, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches possible.
Overnight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 16. West wind 10 to 16 mph.

Transportation
- PA Turnpike has issued a truck restriction for the entire system; commercial towing multi trailers (twins/doubles) and commercial towing empties.
- Speed restrictions are reduced to 45mph effective from Somerset to Bensalem and North East Extension.
