Wind Advisory

This is a message from ReadyPhiladelphia.

Wind Advisory in effect from 12:00pm until 6:00pm. Gusts up to 50mph are possible.  Exercise caution.

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from noon today to 6 PM EST this
evening.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph.

* Timing... after the snow ends... strong northwest winds will
develop during midday and possibly linger into this evening.

* Impacts... strong winds may blow down limbs... trees... and power
lines. Scattered power outages are expected.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that very windy conditions are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult... especially for
high profile vehicles. Use extra caution. Light-weight outdoor
objects such as patio furniture and garbage cans should be
secured.
