Aqua PA to Close Belmont Avenue in Lower Merion Township for Water Main

Aqua Pennsylvania will close Belmont Avenue weekdays between Rockhill Road
and
U.S. 1 (City Avenue) in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County, beginning
Monday, March 13, through Friday, March 24, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, for
water
main installation, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
said
today.
During the operation, Belmont Avenue through traffic will be detoured over
Rockhill Road, Route 23 (Conshohocken State Road), and U.S. 1 (City
Avenue).
Local access will be maintained up the construction zone.
The scheduled travel restriction is subject to change due to weather,
emergency, and traffic considerations. Motorists should reduce their speeds
whenever traveling through designated work zones.
