PA Turnpike to Close Route 113 and Route 363 in Montgomery County for
Overhead Bridge Construction

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is planning to close and detour Route
113
(Harleysville Pike) in Franconia Township, and Route 363 (Valley Forge
Road) in
Upper Gwynedd and Towamencin townships, Montgomery County, for overhead
bridge
beam installations, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT)
announced today.
The work schedule is:
• Saturday, April 8, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Route 113 (Harleysville Pike)
is
scheduled to close between Schoolhouse Road and Allentown Road. Route 113
(Harleysville Pike) motorists will be detoured over Schoolhouse Road, Lower
Road and Allentown Road; and
• Wednesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 13, from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM,
Route
363 (Valley Forge Road) is scheduled to close between Morris Road and
Hunter
Hill Drive. Route 363 (Valley Forge Road) traffic will be detoured over
Morris
Road, Broad Street and Sumneytown Pike.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work
areas. The schedule is weather dependent.
The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission will complete the work under a PennDOT
Highway Occupancy Permit.
