Sunoco Planning Intermittent Lane Closures on U.S. 1 South in Delaware

Sunoco Pipeline, LP is planning intermittent lane closures on southbound
U.S. 1
(Baltimore Pike) between Valley Road and Darlington Road, in Middletown
Township and Chester Heights Borough, Delaware County, beginning Thursday,
March 30, for construction deliveries, the Pennsylvania Department of
Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The Monday through Saturday operation will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00
PM
through late May. Traffic will be controlled by flagging.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the area
because slowdowns may occur.
Sunoco Pipeline, LP will be working under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy
Permit.
Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by
